ENTOPIA BY PENANG BUTTERFLY FARM, PENANG
A living sanctuary of butterflies and insects combining nature, education, and interactive discovery
Overview
Entopia, formerly known as the Penang Butterfly Farm, is one of Malaysia’s leading nature discovery centres.
Located in Teluk Bahang, it is home to thousands of free-flying butterflies as well as a wide variety of insects,
reptiles, and other invertebrates.
Opened in its modern form in 2016, Entopia is designed as both an indoor and outdoor living ecosystem where visitors
can explore nature in a controlled rainforest-inspired environment.
The attraction is divided into two main sections: the outdoor Natureland garden and the indoor Cocoon discovery centre,
offering educational exhibits, interactive displays, and immersive learning experiences.
Today, Entopia is one of Penang’s most popular eco-tourism attractions, ideal for families, students, and nature lovers.
