A beautiful royal winter residence renowned for its landscaped gardens, mountain scenery, colorful flowers, and cultural significance

Overview

Bhubing Palace, also known as Bhu Bing Palace, is a royal winter residence located on the slopes of Doi Buak Ha within the mountains overlooking Chiang Mai. Constructed in 1961, the palace serves as an official residence for members of the Thai royal family during visits to Northern Thailand.

Although the palace buildings themselves are generally not open to the public, visitors can explore the magnificent gardens that surround the grounds. The beautifully maintained landscapes feature colorful flowers, ornamental plants, fountains, and scenic pathways.

Situated at a higher elevation than Chiang Mai City, Bhubing Palace enjoys cooler temperatures and offers a peaceful atmosphere, making it one of the region's most attractive garden attractions.
