Overview

Gua Tempurung is one of the most famous limestone caves in Malaysia, located near Gopeng in Perak, approximately 30 kilometres south of Ipoh.

Stretching over 4 kilometres, the cave system is believed to be more than 400 million years old, making it one of the oldest geological formations in the region.

The cave is renowned for its enormous chambers, fascinating rock formations, underground rivers, and dramatic stalactites and stalagmites.

Today, Gua Tempurung is one of Malaysia's premier eco-tourism destinations, attracting nature lovers, photographers, and adventure seekers from around the world.
