Malaysia's most famous unfinished mansion, steeped in colonial history, romance, and mystery

The mansion was commissioned by Scottish planter William Kellie Smith in 1915 as a grand residence for his family. Inspired by European castles and Moorish architecture, the structure was intended to be one of the most luxurious homes in Malaya.

Construction was never completed after William Kellie Smith's sudden death in 1926, leaving behind an unfinished castle that has fascinated visitors for generations.

Today, Kellie's Castle is a popular tourist attraction known for its architecture, historical significance, scenic surroundings, and stories of paranormal activity.
