Overview
Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple is one of the most famous cave temples in Ipoh,
located within a spectacular limestone hill in the Gunung Rapat area.
The temple combines natural cave formations with Buddhist and Taoist religious shrines.
The name "Kek Lok Tong" means
"Cave of Ultimate Bliss", reflecting its peaceful atmosphere
and spiritual significance.
Originally used for iron ore mining, the cave was later transformed into a place
of worship and meditation. Today, it is one of the most visited attractions in Ipoh.
