LANGKAWI SKY BRIDGE, LANGKAWI

A spectacular curved bridge suspended high above Langkawi's rainforest-covered mountains

Overview

Langkawi Sky Bridge is one of Malaysia's most impressive engineering and architectural attractions. Suspended high above sea level on Mount Mat Cincang, the bridge offers breathtaking panoramic views of Langkawi's islands, lush rainforests, mountains, and the Andaman Sea.

Opened in 2005, the curved pedestrian bridge stretches approximately 125 metres across a dramatic mountain valley. It is supported by a single pylon and was designed to provide visitors with a unique walking experience high above the forest canopy.

The Sky Bridge is accessible via the famous Langkawi Cable Car (SkyCab), which transports visitors from the base station to the mountain summit. The journey itself is considered one of the steepest cable car rides in the world.

Today, the bridge is one of Langkawi's most visited attractions and is renowned for its spectacular scenery, photography opportunities, and unforgettable visitor experience.
