Overview

Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain in Malaysia, standing at approximately 4,095 metres (13,435 feet) above sea level.

Located within Kinabalu Park in Sabah, the mountain is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned for its exceptional biodiversity and natural beauty.

Every year, thousands of visitors travel from around the world to experience the famous summit climb and witness the spectacular sunrise from Low's Peak.

The mountain features diverse ecosystems ranging from tropical rainforest and cloud forests to alpine meadows and unique granite formations near the summit.
